• In January 1942, Ivan Mikhailovich Chisov was a lieutenant for
the former Soviet Union in World War II.
• Attacked by German Messerschmitts.
• Forced to bail out.
• Did not open parachute.
• Free-fell 20,000 feet
and lived to tell the tale.
• Though many may think that Ivan free-fell
20,000, hit the ground and lived, this is not
entirely accurate.
