Promoting Positive Behavior Project
Students' Behavior:
The educational and educational process attaches a great
degree of importance to the elements of behavior and
diligence when formulating its curricula and drawing up its
educational strategies because of its importance in educating
and shaping human beings and shaping his personality, and
there are many proofs of this from the Holy Qur'an, the
purified Sunnah, Arabic literature, and the civilization of Islam
and its authentic culture.
Behavior : The responses that the student emanates in various
daily life situations such as the colors of movement and
activity.
Behavior Guidance: Students should be represented by the
concepts of self-discipline, using preventive and therapeutic
methods and procedures to ensure this achievement.
Behavior Enhancement: The educational methods and
measures taken by the school with the aim of developing
positive behavior, strengthening and supporting the
motivation of students, and honoring the positive actions and
initiatives issued by them.
Positive behavior: i.e. desirable behavior that is consistent
with the rules and regulations of the school and the Supreme
Education Council.
Negative Behavior : Any undesirable behavior that violates
the rules and regulations of the school and the Supreme
Education Council.
Behavior modification: Any actions aimed at controlling and
correcting behavior, and students who have difficulty
adapting to the school environment should adopt positive and
constructive behavior.
• Objectives of Behavior Guidance:
1. Establish firm foundations and standards when dealing with
students' behavior in the school community.
2. Supporting and developing the relationship between the
teacher and the student on an educational basis.
3. Achieving the maximum possible adaptation and stability of
students in the school community through clarity of
procedures in the cases of promoting positive behavior and
modifying negative behavior.
4. Emphasizing the concept of teamwork in the management
of educational affairs in schools.
5. Gaining the trust and cooperation of parents through the
fairness of procedures and the unification of the rules,
practices and methods followed.
6. Encouraging students to commit to attendance and achieve
the expected percentage of them, as well as adhering to the
dates of classes and breaks, and following proper behavior
inside and outside the classrooms.
CONDITIONS FOR PROMOTING POSITIVE BEHAVIOR:
❖ That follows the desired response directly, as the time
difference between the response and the reinforcement
leads to a weakening of the reinforcement effect.
❖ Opportunities for reinforcement should be available to
everyone in a fair manner, and this requires that his or
her traditions be established in the school, so that a
student's behavior does not reinforce a response that
others have not reinforced, assuming that circumstances
and variables are constant.
❖ The reinforcement should be proportional in type and
degree to the behavior to be promoted.
❖ Reinforcement should be directed to the response issued
by the student and not to the student's person, in order
to avoid the adverse impact that may occur on the
student himself or his peers.
❖ Reinforcement methods should vary between moral and
material methods (verbal and non-verbal), as
stereotyping in reinforcement methods reduces their
value and impact.
❖ Do not use extravagant methods of reinforcement,
because extravagance leads to reducing their
effectiveness, as well as not being lenient in granting
them, but rather they are in exchange for real effort and
measured responses.
❖ Methods of reinforcement do not turn into frustration of
those who have not received anything from them, such
as being discredited with the superiority or virtue of
their colleagues, but rather they are presented in a way
that motivates others to emulate them and try to catch
up with them.
❖ Some of them should be directed to the category of
students who have succeeded in improving their
academic level to motivate them to continue striving in
this path.
Positions that deserve to be strengthened:
Promote student behavior (according to their grades) at the
class or school level in the following situations:
❖ Clear excellence in honesty, honesty, spirit of initiative,
initiative, preservation of public funds, and other
positive behaviors.
❖ Academic excellence and improvement (progress) after
delay or failure and the associated regularity in the
performance of homework, cleanliness, and order in
dealing with books and school supplies.
❖ Excelling in school activities and competitions.
❖ Leadership abilities and conscious practice.
❖ Implementing programs or projects that benefit and
positively impact the school and students.
❖ The student approaches positive behavior after
modifying their unwanted negative behavior.
Positive reinforcement of positive behavior:
1. Honoring students in the morning queue and in the
presence of parents.
2. Implementing the Ideal Student Competition on a
monthly basis.
3. Implement the ideal class competition monthly.
4. Moral or moral reinforcement (which is represented in
the words of praise, compliment and encouragement
that the teacher directs to the student or writes down in
praise of his written works and academic achievements,
as well as certificates of appreciation, letters of thanks,
honor plaques, publication in wall newspapers,
periodicals, magazines issued by the school, in addition
to trips and honoring ceremonies... Etcetera.
5. Physical reinforcement (such as in-kind incentives and
rewards in their various forms).
6. Engaging outstanding students in recreational trips and
visits.
7. Involve students in various school activity

.
Applying the program (Positive Promotion Cards for Positive
Behavior ) as follows:
1. Classroom teachers and supervised teachers receive positive
behavior promotion cards during opportunities.
2. The teacher identifies the type of positive behavior issued by
the student and gives him a positive reinforcement card .
3. The student who has five cards will hand over the card to the
ward supervisor .
4. The ward supervisor collects
cards from students and
monitors their names with the positive behaviors that have
been issued from them.
5. When the student obtains five (5) cards, the supervisor will
hand them over to the school administration to honor the
student in the morning queue.
6. Positive Behavior Promotion Cards are granted for the
following cases:
❖ Clear excellence in honesty, honesty, spirit of initiative,
initiative, preservation of public funds, and other
positive behaviors. ( Yellow card )
❖ Academic excellence and improvement (progress) after
delay or failure and the associated regularity in the
performance of homework, cleanliness, and order in
dealing with books and school supplies. ( Blue Card )
❖ Excelling in school activities and competitions. ( White
Card )
❖ Leadership abilities and conscious practice. ( Green Card
)
❖ Implementing programs or projects that benefit and
positively impact the school and students. ( Purple Card )
❖ The student approaches positive behavior after
modifying their unwanted negative behavior. ( Red Card
)
