Subject : Application for long term study visa for Masters program in Cultural Heritage and Creativity for
Tourism & Territorial Development at University of Turin.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Jokyam Ajit Kumar and it's a delight to express my purpose of studying in Italy for my Master’s
program in Cultural Heritage and Creativity for Tourism & Territorial Development at the University of
Turin. From the moment I first got into the Arts field, my passion began to immerse myself in the field of
the Cultural and Tourism sector. Outside the realm of academia, I have actively engaged in sports initiatives
and also in extracurricular activities that have enriched my personal and professional growth. During my
Bachelor’s study I was a University level volleyball player and it was an honor to represent my college in
tournaments.
Turin University is one of the top universities to pursue education as it ranks on top nationally and globally.
By pursuing a Master's degree at University of Turin, I aim to deepen my knowledge, broaden my
perspectives, and contribute to the scholarly discourse in this field. I am drawn to the interdisciplinary nature
of tourism and history of Europe particularly in Italy, where tourism intersects with history, sociology, and
cultural studies. This practical approach allows me to explore the multifaceted dimensions of European
culture and gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles that shape them. My motivation stems
from a desire to unravel the interconnectedness of language, tourism, heritage and culture.
Ultimately I aim to return back to my home country with a solid base and profound experience in
Historical studies, Cultural heritage and Tourism field after my completion of Post graduation in Italy. I
will take the JRF UGC NET exam to pursue a PhD in Humanities department to make my career in the
Professor and Research field. My dream university to pursue a doctoral program is Gitam University,
Visakhapatnam where I will be honing myself to become a Professor and eventually a Junior and Senior
Research Fellowship. As India has one of the leading universities in the Arts field where I can enhance my
future and achieve my goals, it will be a great opportunity to strengthen my career development and I am
certain that pursuing my Masters in Turin University will solidify my chances to accomplish my
objectives.
Regarding my living expenses and financial expenses, My university will be sponsoring my stay during the
entire duration and other expenses as I have been awarded with a Talent 4 UniTo Merit scholarship grant of
20,000 Euros from Turin University which will be sufficient enough to cover my expenses throughout my
study duration. The official acceptance letter of scholarship has been attached. In addition to that I have taken a
loan of 2400 Euros from Muthoot Finance and also I have 900 Euros in my savings account to cover my
expenses of initial months. My classes at Turin university are commencing from 15th of September 2025 and
my enrollment will be done after I arrive in Italy according to my university enrollment terms. As for my
accommodation I have booked a room located at Degli Ulivi, 14, 10156 Torino TO, Italy. I have reserved this
via AirBnb with Confirmation ID: HMRSRFSK3D. This will ensure my safe stay during my academic
journey. My Flight tickets, and Travel Medical insurance are attached with my documents.
Respected Visa Officer, the program I am going to study in University of Turin will be a great opportunity to
