I. Orientation and Introduction

Company briefing and safety orientation

Introduction to plant layout and treatment process flow

Overview of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
II. Water Sampling and Testing Activities

Sampling of raw water and treated water at scheduled intervals

Conducting water quality tests such as:
o
Turbidity testing
o
pH measurement
o
Residual chlorine testing
III. Monitoring and Operational Logging

Observing chemical dosing procedures and flow adjustment

Logging updates on:

o
Coagulant adjustments
o
Filter and clarifier conditions
o
Water level readings (modular tanks, clear wells)
Monitoring process parameters and plant conditions
IV. Data Recording and Encoding


Encoding data from:
o
Daily Treatment Monitoring Sheets
o
Pump pressure and flow rate logs
o
Water Balance Sheets
Updating chemical dosage records and operational summaries
V. Plant Operations Support


Participating in:
o
Roving inspections of treatment units (clarifier, filters, mixing tank)
o
Routine filter backwashing operations
Assisting in:
o
Chemical level monitoring and adjustment decisions
o
Coordination with Process Shift Engineers for real-time process control
VI. Communication and Coordination

Using the company's communication platform (Mainstream) to:
o
Report tank level status
o
Communicate with outside personnel regarding water distribution concerns
o
Receive instructions from other operational teams
VII. Materials and Chemical Management

Assisting in the receiving and inspection of delivered treatment chemicals

Conducting daily inventory of:
o
Coagulants
o
Chlorine
o
Other chemical supplies used for water treatment (e.g. lime)
VIII. Administrative Tasks

Assisting in office-related documentation (e.g., report filing, spreadsheet preparation)

Supporting the finalization of monthly summary reports related to plant performance and
water production
IX. Concluding Activities

Final evaluation of the OJT performance

Reflection and reporting of learnings and acquired skills

Submission of narrative reports and documentation
