I’m Natasha. I have over 2 years of experience supporting individuals in areas of mental health, sexual and domestic violence, and prevention education. I’m currently a student pursuing my Master’s of Social Work at UTA with hopes to earn my clinical licensure to provide both counseling and advocacy to survivors of trauma. What made me interested in working with Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation was the ability to empower and support survivors when they may be feeling the most helpless. And through my experience working in social services, I find myself really pouring my heart into the individuals who feel like their life was put on pause due to trauma such as sexual violence. Questions: - How far in advance would I need to communicate my availability to take a shift? - Would the shelter sites be in Plano? - Will this role be flexible around my schooling?
