This is the story of Exodus; however, it is in the wrong order. Write the correct

____Moses heard God’s voice, telling him to lead his people out of enslavement in Egypt to the
Promised Land. However, the Pharaoh would not let them go.
____The Hebrews were in the desert for a long time. God protected them in the desert by sending
food and water. He spoke to Moses to help them survive.
____God sent down ten plagues to punish the Egyptians. The tenth plague killed the Pharaohs eldest
son and he decided to set the Hebrews free.
____The Hebrews were enslaved people in Egypt. The Pharaoh was scared of them because he thought
they might take over the country. He ordered that all baby boys be killed when they were born.
____One day, he killed an Egyptian who had beaten a Hebrew enslaved person to death. He had to
flee the country. He became a shepherd in a land called Midian and lived there for 40 years.
____Moses was angry that the Hebrews were worshipping the calf and broke the stone tablet in
two. However, God forgave the people and gave Moses the Ten Commandments again.
____The Hebrews painted blood on their doors so they would be safe. But the Pharaoh changed his
mind and sent his armies to capture them. Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea and, with God’s
help, parted the waters so they could escape.
____The people finally saw the error of their ways and were very sorry.
____The Hebrews were free but were still in the desert. They were looking for a land called Canaan,
which had been promised to them by God.
____Moses was born, and to keep him safe, his mother put him in a basket and sent him down the
river Nile. He was raised by the Pharaohs daughter and lived as a Prince.
____When they reached Mount Sinai, Moses was given the Ten Commandments by God, to tell the
people how to live. They were written on a stone tablet. But he was away for a long time, and the
Hebrews created another god to worship - a golden calf.
