PURPOSE
This specification describes the minimum requirements for the fabrication and installation of cable
support brackets for vertical cable installations and for cables that are to be installed on messenger in
underground access drifts and boreholes.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The type of bracket required is to be indicated on the engineered drawings; including, the
mounting height and the maximum spacing between brackets.
