DESCRIPTION
SMARTEAM SAVE of CATIA files bypasses required
fields
.Scenario:
1. Open Form Designer in SmDemo.
2. Open CATIA Drawing form.
3. Double-click on Description field, make
Required=True.
4. Exit and save form.
5. Open up Script Maintenance to SmDemo.
6. On CAD Files, on Before Add, remove SetDesc
script (this will fill in Description field).
7. Exit.
8. Start CATIA - Batch mode save ON.
9. Create a new drawing.
10. Pick File / Save and enter a file name.
11. Connect to SMARTEAM.
12. Pick SMARTEAM / Save, pick a project, click
OK.
13. Leave Description field blank, click OK.
==> It lets you save without filling in the field !
CLOSURE
THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON SMARTEAM
VERSION 5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R13SP08.
