1. Farmers’ Protest Farmer protests erupted suddenly and around the world. To much regret, farmers are protesting against agricultural policies all over Europe. Europe's farmers are protesting against low wages, uncontrolled transit of produce, excessive bureaucracy and the like. As far as I know, farmers' protests have affected France, Germany, Romania, Poland, Greece,Netherlands and Moldova. So it follows that French anger is shared by farm workers in many countries.Farmers are holding rallies in Germany to protest against the German government's plans to cut diesel subsidies and remove tax breaks, and to seek a political reorientation. If this does not happen, farmers are even ready to demand a change of government. Moldovan farmers also stepped up their two-week protest at the end of 2023, staging a tractor march through the streets of Chisinau and paralysing traffic in the capital. Moldovan farmers demanded that the government impose a moratorium on bank loan repayments after the new dry year. However, even after meeting with the president, the farmers did not achieve the desired results and remained dissatisfied with the government. Polish farmers were also against the reduction of their production, and the Polish government wants to sign an agreement with Ukraine on the transit of agricultural products in order to protect the interests of Polish farmers from the uncontrolled influx of products from Ukraine. In Moldova, many Ukrainian products are also sold in shops, despite the fact that the label on the box or package is translated into Romanian, but they were produced in Ukraine. In Romania, farmers and hauliers do not give up their demands, continuing to block the roads and they are also dissatisfied with the measures announced by the government. Dissatisfaction and protests of the French are shared by agricultural workers in many countries, and here we can see the most global problem absolutely everywhere - the government does not hear its citizens or simply does not want to listen to them. In my opinion, if this problem has spread to a number of countries, it becomes a global problem that needs to be addressed immediately. Protests will continue to grow and spread across Europe until the government fulfils all the demands and farmers will continue to protest until they get the desired results from the authorities. For instance, the farmers of France do not stop protesting despite the promise of the authorities to solve the problems of the agricultural sector. I think that in this situation the first thing that the government of each country should do is to think about its people and economy, to compromise and fulfil at least some demands in order to temporarily resolve the conflict. Perhaps one way out of this problem is to import the categories of goods that suffer the most. Another way out may also be to increase salaries, as this is a serious problem in many countries. The percentage of inflation continues to rise, expenses exceed income, so wages must rise along with the increase in prices. In conclusion, I think that the forecasts will be disappointing and the protests will continue, as all that is clear so far is that the government itself is confused and does not know how to act and is powerless to stop the spread of the protests.
