1. Describe your house I come from the land of Hung Yen. There was my parents' half-life effort - a beautiful small house, enough for my family of four to live. My house is in the countryside so the view around the house overlooks the rice fields. My house has 1 floor including 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. My house has a large kitchen, the largest of all the rooms. Because my family works in agriculture, the kitchen is large enough to store grain. My sister and I live in the same room. I like my bedroom the most because it is decorated to match my personality. The room is painted pink. What I like most about this room is its window with a wonderful view. When I opened the window I could smell the faint aroma of rice and see rice fields with cows grazing. The scene is very peaceful and full of poetry. And that's also the reason I like coming home. 2. Talk about your memorable New Year’s Eve My most memorable New Year's Eve is probably New Year's Eve 2021. That year was my family's first New Year's Eve in a new house. From 11:30 p.m., my mother prepared things to burn incense for New Year's Eve offerings. My father and I helped my mother complete the offering tray and waited exactly at midnight for my mother to bring the tray out. After burning incense, my sister and I went to the temple together. People still say that going to the temple on New Year's Eve can pray for good luck for a smooth new year. My two sisters went to the temple to burn incense and pray for the new year, then drew hexagrams to predict what their new year would be like. The reason I say it's special is because that was the first year I went to the temple on New Year's Eve and also the first year I celebrated New Year's Eve in my new home. 3. Talk about your last vacation Last vacation, my parents went to Hai Phong to visit. Because my uncle's house is in Hai Phong, when he gets there he will take us to visit everywhere in the city. it was a very fun vacation. I went to the beach and ate seafood at a restaurant with a very romantic view of the beach. Seafood here is also very delicious and abundant including crabs, oysters, lobsters... I stayed in Hai Phong to visit for 3 days. During the 3 days, I got to go to a lot of places, I got to go to the water park and amusement park. Even though I'm older, I still love the games at the amusement park. Along with me, besides my uncle and my parents, there were also my uncle's two children. So we were able to hang out together so it was fun. 4. Talk about your favourite film/movie I am a person who loves movies. I like a Disney movie called Beauty and the Beast. I don't remember exactly when I saw this movie, but I've seen it many times. It's a movie adapted from the fairy tale of the same name. Talks about a prince turned into a monster by a curse and the monster's love for a girl. The girl's love helped the prince break the curse. I like watching these romantic movies with a bit of fantasy. Because when watching those types of movies, I feel like I'm lost in a new world, helping me temporarily avoid the cruel reality of life. And most of all, these movies always show us that evil will never win over good. 5. Describe habits of Vietnamese people that surprises tourist In Vietnam, there are many interesting things that make first-time visitors feel very strange and surprised. Maybe it's eating habits, communication habits... when coming to Vietnam, any tourist will be surprised by Vietnam's traffic. There are many motorbikes in Vietnam, which is rare in other countries. In addition, the traffic is busy and crowded in a controlled manner, making visitors feel very excited. In addition, the habit of using chopsticks also makes other tourists very surprised because almost all Western countries use knives and forks to eat meals. There is another habit: Vietnamese people quite like eating dog meat. In other countries, they consider dogs as friends, so regarding this habit of Vietnamese people, the reaction of tourists is somewhat negative. 6. Describe a special meal you have had My birthday party last year was unforgettable and very meaningful. That day, there were six adults and two children. Including my uncle, aunt, cousins, and our family of four. To celebrate my graduation, my parents surprised me with a trip to Hai Phong city where we indulged in a delicious seafood feast for my birthday. There were delicious lobsters, blood cockles, and abalone that I still can’t forget. This restaurant is located on the coast and serves delicious seafood while providing a stunning ocean view. While we were enjoying fresh seafood, someone surprised me with a birthday cake everyone sang happy birthday to me, looked at me made a wish, and blew out the candles. All individuals partook in their meals and engaged in joyful conversation. My birthday was special as it marked a turning point in my life and the memory of a solemn celebration. 7. Talk about your dream trip/ holiday I have a small dream that when I'm 27 years old, I will take my parents on a trip to Danang. I want to travel there for 1 week. The reason I chose to go to Da Nang was because my parents said they hoped I would take them to Da Nang in the future. So I try to study to fulfill my parents' wish. Danang is always famous for its beautiful landscapes and novel architecture. I will take my parents to see the Dragon Bridge and the Golden Bridge. Visit Hoi An ancient town. Go swimming at My Khe beach. I want my parents to see the beauty of the outside world. taking them to places they had never been to half their lives before. And to make this dream trip happen, I cannot be lazy. I will have to double my efforts, not to disappoint my parents' expectations as well as my own. 8. Advertise your town I come from Hung Yen. That place borders Hanoi city, so the weather and climate there are no different from Hanoi. When mentioning Hung Yen, people always think of the famous specialty, longan. Longan was a rare and delicious dish that only kings could enjoy. To this day, longan has been considered one of the delicious dishes that people often choose as gifts for loved ones. Famous landmarks here include Pho Hien. There is a folk saying "First in the capital, second in Hien Street", so it can be seen that Hien Street was once very prosperous in the past. The people here are as peaceful as the life here. Unlike the bustling urban areas, this place is peaceful and people here have a slow pace of life. If you have the opportunity, come here and try to experience the unique characteristics of the beautiful land of Hung Yen.
