1. jolly: in good spirits; joyful; merry.
2. ferry: a commercial service with boats for transporting persons, automobiles, etc.,
across a river.
3. lonely: solitary; without company; companionless.
4. fancy: ornamental; decorative; not plain.
5. copy: an imitation, reproduction, or transcript of an original.
6. history: the branch of knowledge dealing with past events.
7. supply: to furnish or provide (a person, establishment, place, etc.) with what is
lacking.
8. turtle: any reptile species having the trunk enclosed in a shell.
9. battle: a hostile encounter or engagement between opposing military forces.
10. pickle: a cucumber that has been preserved in brine, vinegar, or the like.
11. saddle: a seat for a rider on the back of a horse or other animal.
12. puzzle: a toy, or a problem designed to amuse by presenting difficulties to be
solved.
13. possible: that may be true or may be the case, as something concerning which one
