Read-Across-America Celebration
Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

Dear Parents,
March 2nd is Read-Across-America Day!
It is a day observed across the United States
and is the birthday of our beloved “Dr.
Seuss”!  We will begin our day with a huge
breakfast consisting of “green eggs”, ham,
biscuits, butter, jelly, orange juice, etc.! It
will be DELICIOUS!  In the afternoon, we
will have a birthday party for “Dr. Seuss”!

activities or donations for this special day,
please email me at treavis@iss.k12.nc.us. I
want this to be a day well remembered by our
children! 
