From: Peta, Project Manager To: Carter, Executive Chef Subj: Tabletop Pilot Expansion Issues Hi Carter, It was really nice to meet with you. I appreciated your opinion and advice regarding the potential for an expanded rollout of the tabletop pilot. Your incredible experience and contribution to this innovative project have been very helpful thus far. As we discussed in our recent meeting, I don’t believe expansion beyond the initial proposal (to the whole restaurant past the bar sections) is viable without substantial risk and possible unmanageable complications. Omar, the owner, has indicated his preference for tabletop expansion to the whole restaurant at each of the two locations. This is beyond the scope of our original plan. Taking the original tack will lead to far less risk and the opportunity to make more sound, less impactful adjustments as we expand beyond that initial set up. Add to this, your organization is not equipped to handle the extra workload and will need to hire (and train) new employees which has fiscal consequences that you will likely not be able to cover right away. In that same vein, an expansive rollout will also have a high impact on customer satisfaction. Therefore, it would be very helpful if you could articulate any additional concerns with me (beyond what you have expressed so far) so that I can meet with the owner and operations manager to help them realize the best approach here. Is this something you would be willing to do? With your assistance, I’d believe I can bring the team to a unanimous decision that supports the initial proposal and one that best serves the best interest and bottom line of your organization. Respectfully, Peta Project Manager
