biodegradable packaging with detachable sensors to
detect defects (minimising returns), and efficient space
usage, while also functioning as end-use products, such
as packaging that can be repurposed for saplings.

Implement Industrial IoT Systems to identify
equipment and vehicle failure trends in the warehouse
using predictive machine learning algorithms to
generate alerts in anomalies, ensuring proactive
maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Time-Efficient Returns
Reverse logistics remain a high operating expense
and are discouraged by firms. End to end circularity can
only be achieved by route optimization and
aggregating returns using AI-predictive analytics of
consumer return patterns to make it cost-effective to
scale.

Packaging per Package
Reduce average weight and volume percentage of packaging per
package delivered to consequently reduce delivery costs and time.
Recyclability Fraction
Increase the recyclability percentage by weight for each package
and increase the number of packages repurposed for end use.
Breakdown Costs
The effectiveness of maintenance monitoring can be gauged from
reductions in the sum of breakdown and maintenance costs,
which are directly dependent on the quality and timeliness of the
monitoring system.
Average Cost per Return
The average cost of each return to the logistics company consists
primarily of the transportation cost and the customer
dissatisfaction cost, both of which can be minimized by optimizing
when and how returns are collected, across time horizons on the
basis of spatial proximity.
