To deal with the uncertainties and fight COVID-19, governments across the world have implemented various degrees of restrictions. Different people react differently to complexities and uncertainties, including feelings of loss of control, anxiety around well-being, and conjectures around financial insecurity. The coronavirus outbreak is dramatically changing our lives, including our relationships with other people in our communities, our families, our homes and our workplaces. Millions of us have lost some or all of our normal ways of seeing others as we try to keep each other safe. Because of the abrupt change in our lifestyle, it eventually affects our everyday routine. For instance, students go to school from Monday to Friday and parents go to work on the same day, while Saturdays and Sundays are mostly spent with family and with God, but these does not happen anymore. This routine suddenly changes because of the uncontrollable situation such as this pandemic. How are you going to manage this change? This situation is inevitable, as it is these events that challenge us and force us to step out of our comfort zone. If we ignore or hide away from the challenge of change, we deny 1 ourselves the opportunity to learn and grow. It is during this time that we can test one’s resiliency in life and know how to manage these challenges in a positive way.
