Effects of Covid-19 on Psychosocial behavior of Grade 12 STEM Learners INTRODUCTION The 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak was identified as an international public health emergency on January 30, 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a disease, declared for the first time in China in December 2019 continues to sweep across continents affecting many European, American and Asian countries severely and continues to expand its burden of illness. With the spread of this virus many people have suffered, many people have lost their jobs and especially many people have experienced changes in psychosocial behavior since we are in isolation few months of quarantine. This research has highlighted the impact on psychological behavior of the stem learners, who are more likely to develop anxiety, depression, and other symptoms of distress. The social distance and the isolation measures have affected the relationship among people and their perception of empathy toward others. This pandemic has given us various trials in life and also because of this test we have been able to be resilient despite the problems we face in today's pandemic.
