At Cleveland State University, we have deep community roots in gifted education. Our professors come straight from the field, bringing into the classroom years of experience from gifted programs throughout Ohio. Our Gifted Teacher Education graduate program is offered fully online, with flexible courses that fit your schedule and optional weekly meetings, so students stay connected with faculty every step of the way. CSU has allowed me to achieve what I thought would not be possible: work full time while earning my gifted endorsement. This flexible online program requires 15 credits and can be completed in as little as three semesters. REQUIRED CREDITS (15) COURSES Human Development (3 credits) EGT 512: Introduction to Gifted Education Theory and Practice (6 credits) EGT 513: Curriculum for Gifted Learners Gifted and Talented Learners Specialization (6 credits) EGT 518: Programming and Services for Gifted Learners EGT 514: Differentiated Instruction for Gifted Learners EGT 580: Practicum for Gifted Learners ONLINE MASTER’S DEGREE IN CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION WITH SPECIALIZATION IN GIFTED EDUCATION This option combines the Gifted Endorsement with expanded core elements and electives. A minimum of 30 credits is required for this flexible online program. Students may choose to add elective credits to earn additional certificates or endorsements.
