DETERMINANTS OF DEMAND
STORYBOOK ASSIGNMENT
Set up and Resources
1. Three Sheets of copy
paper, or paper of your
choice.
2. Writing utensil and
colored pencils or crayons
3. Stapler
• First, fold three sheets of blank white paper, or the
formatted template paper, in half.
• Next, staple the storybook on both ends of the
interior crease.
• Now, label your storybook the “Determinants
of Demand Storybook”

• Next, illustrate your cover. You must include at least
one illustration for the cover.

• Create a narrative for your storybook. In other words, create a story that can be used to represent each
of the determinants of demand. You can do one theme for the entire book, or five standalone stories
for each of the determinants.
• Include at least one image for each determinant, colored with colored with pencils or markers.
• Also, illustrate graphs for each of the determinants of demand (see the storybook requirements)

STORYBOOK REQUIREMENTS
Include the following in your storybook
• Cover:
 Title – Determinants of Demand Storybook
 At least one illustrated image (colored) to work as an
impact picture
• Insert Pages:
 Story connected to the determinant
 Include at least one image (colored) for each determinant.
1. Income (normal / inferior goods)
2. Related Goods (substitutes / compliments)
3. Taste & Preferences
4. Population Change
5. Expectations on price
 Graphs to represent an increase and a decrease in
demand based on the determinant
