What is population in
entrepreneurship?
All firms in the business sector, which
can be disaggregated by economic
activity and size class.
Entrepreneurship play a pivotal role in the growth
of the economy. They spur industry innovations,
create new market opportunities, and support the
development of communities..
ENTREPRENEURIAL POPULATION
Development of entrepreneurship is not always
spontaneous. It is very often affected by environment
factors like economic, social, political, psychological, legal
and cultural etc. These or factors may have both positive and
negative influences on the emergence and development of
entrepreneurship.
How does population affect
entrepreneurship
Increase in production Increase in the size of
population can enlarge the production base of the
economy. The increase in size of population
enlarges the scope of division of labour which in
turn results large scale production, reduces cost of
production and prices and expands market.
As the population grows, more people need a place to live.
This means that over the long term, population growth
drives increased demand for housing, and therefore a
strong property market. Population growth also affects the
property market by impacting the economy.
