• The #1 ingredient in watercolor is WATER, don’t be
afraid to use it!
• Watercolor is uneven and watery, it is not a thick
solid color.
• Always start with your lightest values first!!!!!
• Watercolor is applied in layers- you can always go
darker, but you cannot always go lighter.
Objective: You will create a watercolor
landscape painting showing atmospheric
perspective. To do so, use your Chrome
books to find educational tutorials on
how to paint landscapes utilizing
watercolor as a medium.
