Illustration Class Supply List
Students taking this class will need to bring:
Drawing Pencils: Assortment sets work best (6B, 4B, 2B, HB, H, 2H, 4H, 6H)
Fine point Sharpie markers and/or Micron Pen fine tips
Watercolor Paints:
o Assortment of colors relative to the material you will paint. Most Craft stores sell
individual tubes (the small ones work fine). Students should have at least:
o Red, Blue, Yellow, black or Payne’s Grey, ochre, umber and possibly greens.
Drawing paper: Best deal is to have a sketch book
Watercolor paper: 100lb press. A good idea would be a small pad with 5-10 sheets.
Watercolor brushes: basic assortment pack will suffice. GoggleWorks has some brushes in each
studio though they are used for a multitude of classes and aren’t very nice.
