Trong tuần học từ 08/5 - 12/5 các con sẽ có bài đánh giá hết học kì II môn tiếng Anh Stage 5. Cô giáo gửi tổng hợp các từ vựng, cấu trúc từ Unit
5 đến Unit 9 để gia đình có thể tiện theo dõi cũng như luyện tập thêm cho con:

- Từ vựng 5.1: yawning, hitting a knee reflex, sneezing, *Câu điều kiện loại 0 (The Zero Conditional): dùng để diễn tả một sự thật

● Câu điều kiện loại 0 cũng thường được dùng để đưa ra chỉ dẫn, sử
dụng mệnh lệnh trong mệnh đề chính.
- Từ vựng 5.3: twirl, frilly, itch, unique, unusual, crowded,
tags; tantrum, shriek, balk, proclaim, bang.
➔ If the light is red, don’t cross the road.
*Câu hỏi đuôi (Question Tag): được sử dụng để tìm kiếm hoặc xác nhận
thông tin đề cập ở mệnh đề trước đúng hay sai.
● Nếu mệnh đề chỉnh ở thể khẳng định, câu hỏi đuôi ở thể phủ định.
➔ The brain is 14 cm wide, isn’t it ?
➔ The left part of the brain controls speech, doesn’t it ?
➔ You saw her last week, didn’t you ?
● Nếu mệnh đề chính ở thể phủ định, câu hỏi đuôi ở thể khẳng định.
➔ Scientists don’t know everything about the brain, do they ?
➔ Pizza isn't good brain food, is it ?
● Nếu có một trợ động từ trong câu, chúng ta sử dụng trợ động từ đó
để tạo thành câu hỏi đuôi.
➔ Juggling can’t make your brain stronger, can it ?
➔ They should study for the test, shouldn’t they ?
Từ vựng 6.1: board books, comic adventure stories, family
*Connectives (Từ nối): so, and, next, but, after → được dùng để liên kết
stories, fairy tales, fables, picture books, young adult giữa các câu giúp cho đoạn văn chặt chẽ, logic hơn.
