What do all these types of
exercise have in common?
Whether you are hiking, jogging, cycling, rowing,
running, or doing elliptical training. Just remember,
there's a particular type of fitness you need:
cardiovascular endurance.

endurance ???
Cardiovascular endurance
It is a term, which measures how well you can
perform a dynamic activity at a moderate to
high intensity for an extended time (20-40
mints) . It does not only involve your heart but
is a collective effort by your lungs as well your
muscles.
oxygen-rich blood travels from your lungs to
the heart where it’s pumped out to your
muscles during exercising.
When you engage in strenuous physical activity, your
muscles need more oxygen than when you’re resting.
This means your cardiovascular system works harder
than normal to move oxygenated blood to your
working muscles. If you have poor cardiovascular
endurance, you won’t get enough oxygen to your
muscles and you may feel light-headed or start to
experience tiredness.
Why Cardiovascular
Endurance Matters ??
As you increase your cardiovascular endurance through
aerobic exercise, You'll get the following benefits:
• Lowered risk of diseases: Heart disease, High
blood pressure, Obesity, Type 2 diabetes, and
Stroke.
• Better strength and stamina. Your heart and
lungs will get stronger as you exercise. You'll
also gain muscle fitness.
• Managed weight. Aerobic exercise, together
with a healthy diet, can help you lose weight
and keep it off.
• Better mood. Aerobic exercise may help you
relieve tension and anxiety. It may also help
you relax and sleep better.
