A standard sized portion will look small on a large plate, making you feel dissatisfied. Use a smaller plate to prevent overloading. Ma’am use smaller dinnerware to control the amount of food that were going to put on the plate. That’s correct. Because big plate contains big amount of food that lead us into overeating. 2nd method is Use your plate as a portion guide. (Yes) Thank you. Based on the picture, can you give an example of plate as a portion guide. Anyone. Yes If measuring or weighing food isn’t appealing, try using your plate or bowl as portion guide. Exactly. To make it a well balance meal. For example, ma’am in a one plate half ½ of vegetables and in the other side ¼ of protein, on the other side, ¼ of high fats food, and ½ of fruits. 3rd method is Use your hands as a serving guide. It’s says that without measuring tools we can use our hand to measure our foods. How? Here’s example on how we can measure our foods using our hand. Another way to gauge appropriate size without any measuring tools is by simply using your hands. As your hands usually correspond to your body size, bigger people who require more food typically have bigger hands. 4th method, Give measuring cup a go. 5th method, ask a half portion when eating out. Restaurant always serve large portion of food so it’s better to ask for a half portion. This will save you a lot of calories and help prevent overeating. Using measuring cup is the simplest way of measuring the amount for you every time. A restaurant serving size are average 2.5 times larger than standard ones. 6th method, Start a meal with a glass of water. Drinking a glass of water up to 30 minutes before a meal will naturally aid Drinking a glass of water up to 30 portion control. minutes before a meal can naturally result Filling up on water will make you feel in reduced food intake and greater feelings less hungry. of fullness. 7th method, Take it slowly. Eating slowly can reduce your total intake. Eating quickly makes you less aware of getting full and therefore increases your likelihood of overeating. Eating slowly regulates portion control. And the last one, Use food diary. In weight-loss studies, those who kept a food diary tended to lose more weight overall. D.
