Responsibilites as QA/QC Welding/Piping Inspector • Inspection of welding equipment, cable connections, ear thing clamp, required consumable treatment, portable oven functioning, welder ID, preheat, check welding parameters, inter-pass temp, welding techniques used by welder, interpass cleaning, etc. • Review & monitor the WPS's, PQR's, Post-Weld Heat treatment, inspection & NDT procedures, method of statements and work procedures, inspection & test plan (ITP) versus the specifications, Codes, P&I drawings. • Review & monitor the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements, and also reviewing radiographic films. • Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work to perform the required inspection, review of NDT Matrix to check proper coverage of NDT and PWHT for various piping classes. • Supervise non - conformance reports, verifying conformity of the work to specified Quality Requirement and ensuring that the inspection and control are carried out and documented in accordance with the requirement. • Perform pipeline checkup, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements. • Monitor and supervision of field construction activities to ensure design requirements are met in compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
