QUALITATIVE DATA ANALYSIS Compassion satisfaction is influenced by a variety of factors, including managing stress, positive reappraisal, and vigor. Counselors who understand the importance of their own wellness and practice self-care are less likely to experience burnout and compassion fatigue. (Lawson et al., 2007) According to the respondents' statements below, they found satisfaction in providing assistance or extending a hand to someone in need, particularly their students or clients. They understand how to set aside their own emotions or personal issues in order not to absorb or emotionally consume the client's problem. Additionally, self-compassion improves wellness and reduces stress. According to Stamm (2005) compassion satisfaction is a pleasure derived from helping others. In the given statement below, despite experiencing burnout to their workloads as a counselor, they always found satisfaction to their job role. They always believed that being them a counselor has a purpose—that is to promote mental health awareness. Moreover, the study also found that it is correlate positively resilience, it is the ability to cope, learn, and grown from difficult experiences. (Burnett and Wahl, 2005).
