Q2 LESSON 2- MUSCULAR SYSTEM

advertisement
Beneath our skin is a
layer of muscles
attached to the bones.
They are connected to
the skeleton by bands
of tendons.
Muscles are responsible
for the movements of
arms, legs, jaws, fingers
and hips, as well as for
beating of the heart, the
churning of the
stomach and intestines
and many more
contractions inside the
body.
Muscles are the body's
organs for movement.
Physical activity and
exercise develop both
voluntary muscles such
as limbs used in a
particular sport and
involuntary muscles,
such as the cardiac
muscles of the heart.
What is the importance of exercise in
developing muscles?
