PERSONAL STATEMENT – ESHEGBE EZEKIEL
Master of Science in Biomedical Science
My name is Eshegbe Ezekiel and I am applying to study Master of Science in Biomedical Science at
your institution. Biomedical Science is a very viable career in health sciences that can’t be swept under
the carpet. The achievement and impact wrought by medical science has salvaged mankind from
imminent threats of extinction and so far has become the bedrock of every progressive society.
Choosing to study Biomedical Science in my second Degree (MSc) is not for a mere portfolio or
decorative academic achievement. It is a conscious decision I made during a youth workshop/seminar
in the Post – Covid period. Biomedical Science is an advanced scope of medical laboratory research
and a major cone for disease diagnosis, control and study. The real drive behind my pursuit is a simple
course of nature, due to future I dream for myself I require a constant step forward and hence; taking
up MSc in Biomedical Science is a vital construction for the mast of my career.
My background is fundamentally Africa. I am from Delta State, Nigeria; from a Christian home which
will attest to an extent the quality of my social life and orientation about living and behaviour. I
finished my Basic or Primary Education and proceeded to Secondary or High School level and
subsequently obtained a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Afe-Babalola
University, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria. Within this period, I was both field and mentally perfected in
medical laboratory sciences which is suggestive of the fact that I have been a licensed Medical
Laboratory Scientist. I was exposed to diverse and different experiences, methodologies, inequalities,
encounters, strategies and improvise which has sharpened the tentacles of my brilliance and efficiency
in performance. Having been born into the Oil-rich region of Nigeria, our environment is exposed to
heavy and hazardous pollution which gives rise to many health challenges and even chronic diseases.
I have partnered with several outreach and public health NGOs within the State and Federation to
procure Medical Schemes and Outreaches targeted at the grassroots and such experiences changed
my life and perception. It is my dream to install a Free Medical Institution where people can get
medical aid and attention irrespective of their status, financial disposition and background especially
the grassroots in Nigeria and beyond hence, my appeal and submission to be considered fit for
admission into this great institution.
Kingston University. London is well equipped with all facilities and standards to procure full scope of
learning in the field anyone has chosen in medical science. I researched about Kingston University and
the articles on their educational legacy and exploits bought my fancy and desire to sink my nets in its
waters. Aside their affordable tuition they also have placements and lucrative/supportive offers for
international students which is extremely an explicit image of their organizational structure brooding
technologies. I am optimistic that Kingston University can prosecute the course and career which I
have chosen to run with them.
London has bought herself a monumental history and existence with so much influence around the
world. This clearly demonstrates how eager I am to behold her beauty and experience her society
which has been for donkey years. Moreso, every necessary arrangement, funds and requirements will
be fulfilled in the course of prosecuting this admission.
It is my attestation and declaration that if given the opportunity in Kingston University, I will never be
found or enlisted in any sort of antisocial activity or social vices or even any form of engagement that
