Dear Diary…

point of view of someone living during
WWII. You could be a soldier or someone
on the home front. Be sure to include at
least 3 specific references to historical
events and your reactions to them.
Off the Chart!
Find a graph/ chart related to WWII and
answer the following questions in a onepage summary: Why is the data
important? How does it tell part of the
story about WWII? Can we learn any
long-term lessons from the data?
We Want You!
Create your own propaganda poster for a
country of your choice. What you
advertise is up to you- enlisting in the
armed forces, rationing, keeping secrets,
etc. You must include a one paragraph
explanation of the purpose of the poster
and who has created it (e.g., the
government).
Your Choice…
Choose a World War II topic to create a
presentation for. You can select any
presentation mode approved by your
teacher.
Bombs Away!
Research two significant weapons or
technological advancements that were
invented and used during WWII. Write a
half page description of each weapon and
how it impacted the war.
Extra, Extra!
Create a newspaper story about a specific
event in WWII. Your news story needs to
have a headline and must be at least one
page long. Be sure to focus on the causes
and effects/ the importance of the event.
Please Don’t Stop the Music
Trivia Time!

WWII topic of your choice. Make sure to
include an answer key.
MVP
Choose an individual that had a
significant impact during WWII and
write one page about them and their
contributions/ connections to the war.
Please also include a picture of this
person.
Write a song about WWII. It could be a
ballad about the tragedies that occurred, a
song that rallies people to enlist and
support the war, the experience of
someone on the home front, etc. It must be
done to the tune of a popular song; you
just need to change the words. You don’t
