Who has inspired you? Assalamualaikum. I am Muhammad Hamza Naveed from grade 8-8. I am honoured to be standing here before you, to give a speech on the topic: Who has inspired me? Let me ask you a question. Do you have an inspiration in life; a person you completely look up to, respect, and want to become like? I’ll bet you do. Inspirations are driving forces behind the greatest people and ideas. Almost every world-famous man or woman who had a great idea started from one thing, an inspiration. Inspirations form the cornerstone of positive mindsets, which lead to positive results. But who would I describe as the most pivotal person who inspired me the most? It would definitely be the Holy Prophet SAW. The Prophet Muhammad SAW was the Messenger of Allah. He brought Allah’s message of Islam to all of humankind. The Prophet SAW was born in 570 AD in Makkah, to the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh. He later on married Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. He demonstrated incredible traits and characteristics from a very young age. He was a selfless man, always ready to help those in need. He always strived for excellent causes. He had excellent gestures and manners. He was a devout Muslim who always put complete faith in Allah. He was very trustworthy, as many people would entrust their valuables to him. He was always honest and never told a lie. He was the living example of how every human on earth shall aspire to be like. Prophet Muhammad SAW is a role model for every Muslim until the Day of Judgement. The Prophet SAW inspires me in many ways. For one, he inspires me to become a better Muslim, and how I can adhere to Allah’s command. He inspires me to pray all my Salah and to read the Quran. His character and nobility also greatly moves me. I am greatly inspired by how kind and forgiving he was, and it inspires me to let go of other’s mistakes. I am also greatly inspired by how generous he was, and it motivates me to give to the poor. I would like to conclude by saying, that every person should learn about our Holy Prophet SAW’s life and live by its code. As only in living by the Sunnah and Hadeeth can we secure Paradise and ensure ourselves victorious in the Hereafter.
