For a smooth Loan Approval, be sure to follow these tips below, as they will help you to avoid delays with your
loan process after you submit your loan application. If you encounter a unique situation, it is best to mention it
to us right away so we can help you determine the best way to achieve your goals.
DO continue to make your mortgage or rent payments on time
DO stay current on all your existing accounts
DO notify us if you are planning on receiving any gift funds for down payment
DO notify us if you have any upcoming employment changes, raises or changes
in pay structure
DO return ALL requested documentation in a timely manner
DO notify us of any vacation plans during the loan process so that we can
complete a home inspection or appraisal and schedule the right closing date
DO develop in advance, with Casey, a “cash-to-close” plan specifying the amount
and sources for the monies needed for your transaction
DO CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS!
DON’T make any major purchases, including furniture for your new home
DON’T apply for new credit (even with the 0% financing temptation)
DON’T change jobs without notifying us first
DON’T deposit cash or gift monies into your bank account, without first discussing with
Casey or one of his team members
DON’T close any credit accounts or transfer balances between one to another
DON’T co-sign for anyone else for any types of loans
DON’T pay off any loans or credit cards, including collections, without first discussing with
Casey or one of his team members
DON’T deviate from your “cash-to-close” plan, even for the initial purchase deposit without
discussing this with Casey or one of his team members
