We made it through our first full week of school and it has been wonderful! I have just
a few things that I would like to remind you of as well as targets and activities for next week.
Just a few reminders:
Please remember to send a snack with your child every day.
Pick up time for your child is at 3:00.
We will need an extra pair of clothes for your child put in a baggie with their
name on it.
If your child’s work looks too easy for them or too hard for them, please do not
worry. I am still trying to complete beginning of the year assessments. Once they are
completed your child will receive different work based on their needs.
Weekly Targets for the week of August 22-26:
These targets will be reviewed with your child every day at school. Please reinforce
what is being worked on at school and review it at home with your child.
I can name and write the letters Aa, Bb, and Cc.
I can name and write the numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8.
I can identify the parts of my body (heart, lung, stomach)
If you have any questions about these targets please feel free to contact me.
Show and Tell:
We will be having show and tell every Friday from now on. Your child is to bring
something that can fit in their backpack. It needs to be something that they can share about
to their other classmates.
