What are the changes brought by the pandemic in the current information
technology stature?

The pandemic has created a dire need for the updating and standardization of
information technology stature. It has become a requirement for every big
corporation and institution to have a solid information technology foundation
because during this period, interaction needs to be done without face-to-face
contact. Technologies that have already been invented such as live-video
conferences, streaming, etc. have been more used than ever before because of
the global crisis.
How does it affect you in terms of studying, playing, etc.

The changes that the pandemic brought to the current information technology
stature has made me adapt more to the online environment. I use the technology
to study all the time with the help of live video conferences, online tutorials, web
tools, and others than can help me learn more. I also use it sometimes to pass
time such as for online games and to bond with friends.

Video Conferences as a general meeting place for employees and hires.

Admin and Log system – This is a technology that is utilized by the HR team to track and
log employee’s attendance and time-in and out.

Memorandum and Emailing – This is used to spread information en masse to the whole
company.


Hiring and Recruiting using social media – HR uses social media to look for possible
new recruits.



Intelligence Resources and Database for Research – HR can utilize these resources for
research specific purposes.
