With the new ways of working coming through the aftermath of the Covid pandemic.
We as recruiters are continuously focusing on getting the right talent for our clients. We
are encouraging our clients “the employers “to be more flexible around the talent
requirements and expectations. We too have changed our ways to hiring and advising
to include:
1) Customizing recruitments or job offers to be more candidate centered meaning
that we get to know the candidates more then can align them to the different
clients in the different sectors. This means continuously creating candidate profiles
prior to receiving the client need so we proactively approach potential clients or
those coming through. We have seen this opening door for regional / cross
boarder hires, mothers or fathers with small children, there are more Flexible
working hours and interesting hybrid ways of working, no more excuses for not
finding the prefect job. We now have a global market as our pool.
2) With the goal market, we have had to use more technology to have a better
reach of these masses, this has also removed bias from the recruitment process by
use of blind hiring automated processes, reduced the lead time in the recruitment,
reduced the different segregation that can be age, gender, ethnicity to mention
but a few. There has been more focus on optimization of data, automation and
Artificial Intelligence. With the AI, we start off but ensuring that we have more than
one developer to reduce the chances on bias. AI is here to complement or
enhance Human Resource, using the right data can reduce lead time and cost
of hiring with the aim of better fit management for the employee and employer.
3) Prioritizing of metal health in a workplace as its about how staff feel whist they work
for us, teams now need to be informed of their growth path immediately on hiring
for retention and a feel of job security. Clients are advised to have short term goals
1-2 years, more mentoring and coaching to close the gap of the human touch.
