garbage that clogging the
drainage canals.

and evacuated them into the

Preliminary information about our picked
problem and our problem statement.
Flood
Flood is an overflowing of water that submerges land.
According to Federigan, L. (2001, January 9). The Philippines,
unfortunately, ranks eighth among the top 10 countries whose 29.1
million of its people are exposed to significant flood risk. The number
represents 27.7 percent of its national population. So, floods impact
many areas in the Philippines.
Problem Statement
• This will indicate a concise description of a problem/issue to be
improved a possible solution and it indicates the gap between the
problem state and the goal to state a process. The problem statement
is shown below;
• How can we help the residents of Cabisera 4, Ilagan City to avoid
severe flood in their area?
