flood warnings. Know the difference.
Understand why it floods.
Maintain the storm drains near your
property. Don’t ever walk or drive through
floodwater. Turn around, don’t drown.
Know that regular insurance does not cover
flood damage. Know that flooding can and
does happen outside of mapped floodplains.
