For example, the plural form of man is men not mans. The plural form of woman is women, not womans. The most common irregular nouns: 1. Nouns ending in –f and –fe Ex. Leaf-leaves Life –lives 2. Nouns that change vowels Ex. Foot– feet Man– men 3. Irregular nouns that change substantially Ex. Mouse– mice Child– children 4. Irregular nouns that do not change at all when made plural Ex.
