Accordingly, Ramon Magsaysay Central Elementary School responded to the call of Bawat Bata Bumabasa (3Bs Initiative) in connection to the Brigada Pagbasa an after-school reading remediation. RMCES conducted the activity "Car Trunk Reading Surprise" initiated by Irene T. Cababat, the school's reading coordinator. Volunteered and committed teachers went door to door looking for learners and helping them learn to read and enjoy reading with the help of the other stakeholders. Children who benefited from the community service were given school supplies, toys, gifts, and snacks by the Parent-Teacher Association and the teachers. All grade levels from kindergarten to grade six, including the Learners with Special Educational Needs class, participated in the said activity. Each week, two grade levels were assigned to go out and come up with their unique concept as to how they were going to motivate the learners to listen and read.
