CONCLUSION In a nutshell, what can be conclude that this movie entitled “The Founder” has teach plenty of lessons regarding to our topic on franchise. One thing that can be learned is that he makes it clear that he wants his franchisees to keep the high quality and standards of the products or services they sell. Franchisees must make sure, for example, that the operation system is running smoothly, right down to the temperature and time it takes to cook fries so that they are perfectly done, that each hamburger has the same number of pickles, that every product looks the same, and that the production stage is in the best place for a smooth workflow. In addition, a franchisor has the right to help in identifying the best and strategic locations for the shop. In the movie, a financial expert named Harry Sonneborn helped Ray Kroc realize that he was in the real estate business, not the food service business. Harry gave him another way to make money from the deal he made with the McDonald brothers, which included selling hamburgers and starting franchises. This new plan called for starting a real estate company that would buy or rent all the land where McDonald's restaurants would be built. Also, to make sure their "Speedee Delivery System" would work, the brothers and some of their employees spent an afternoon on a tennis court making chalk layouts to figure out the best way to prepare food. This is because customers or clients don't like to wait longer for their food or product. We think of kids and families having fun when we talk about McDonald's. In this movie, Ray thinks of it as a family meal with traditional American food. He sees that, just like every American town has a court, every church should have a McDonald's so that it can serve people in the most cost-effective way. McDonald's needed a sign to make its brand stand out, just like the Church has a cross and the court has a flag. Bingo! The beautiful golden arches were there. Even now, you can tell which restaurant is McDonald's by its bright M. At the end of the movie, Ray had bought this intellectual property from the people who had owned it before. It teaches you a very important lesson: never be afraid to put money into and protect your brand, which is also called a trademark. Most of the time, bad things happen when trademark protection isn't complete. Always register your trademark as a word mark, a logo, or a unique color scheme if it makes your business stand out. McDonald's boxes, wraps, and cups, as well as their designs, serve more than one purpose. At the most basic level, they keep food hot and fresh, tell you what's inside, and show who made it. But over the years, we've been able to change the look of our packages almost as much as our food and the restaurant experience. As McDonald's introduces new designs for food and drink packages around the world, we think back on some of the most important moments in the company's history. Here, we learn that to open a franchise, you need to be creative and able to think outside the box.. Getting a franchise up and running is all about building a strong team. The growth of a company depends on how well the staff understands this and puts the needs of the business first. If the company depends on mid-level skills, administrative work, and people who are happy to learn how to do something but don't want a challenge, we should look for people who are willing to learn and don't like challenges.
