The refrigeration system installed in a cold room will be designed and
simulated in this project.
Initially, the thermal load of the cold room will be estimated. Then, all
refrigeration system
components will be selected (Compressor, Condenser, Expansion valve,
Evaporator, Accessories,
etc.) according to the Lebanese market's existing materials. The whole
refrigeration system/cycle will
be assembled and simulated in a simulation package.
The initial cost, operating and maintenance costs will be estimated. A
parametric study will be carried
out to determine the best configuration of the refrigeration system. Finally,
in this study, we will evaluate the energy performance of the refrigeration
system and demonstrate the energy savings and
economic interest of the best-configuration system.
In this project, students must perform the modeling and simulation of the
electrical operation of a photovoltaic (PV) system adapted by an MPPT
command ensuring the pursuit of the maximum power point supplied by the
PV generator.

Nowadays, in Lebanon, despite the high rate of precipitation, obtaining
fresh and pure is a critical subject in both rural and urban areas. The main
reason for this problem, is that the largest part of the water goes towards
the sea.
Here, we develop a portable powered desalination / purifier to solve the
water problem with a smart innovative concept. The solar portable
desalinator should have the following specifications:

Traction of the spine, known as cervical traction, is a popular treatment
for neck pain and related injuries. Essentially, cervical traction pulls your
head away from your neck to create expansion and eliminate compression.
It’s considered to be an alternative treatment for neck pain, helping people
avoid the need for medication or surgeries. It can be used as part of a
physical therapy treatment or on your own at home.
Cervical traction devices lightly stretch the neck to reduce pressure on the
spine by pulling or separating the vertebrae. It’s said to be both highly
effective and fast-acting. Read on to learn more about this technique and
how it can be of benefit to you.
Solar installers and sellers needs technical filters to find the exact PV storage
systems that match theirs needs.
The aim of the project is to collate storage system data from manufacturer, allowing
to compare and review storage systems easily. The students are required to study
