RUBRIC: 5 points- content 3 points- organization 2 points- mechanics C. How does Filipino values affect you as an individual? How can you share this in the community? (5 to 10 sentences only) As Filipino citizens, these values have been ingrained on us since the day we were born; yet, as we mature, we embrace the values that we want to display to everyone in order to validate the decision that we've made. These are the qualities that foreigners use to characterize our identity, for who we are and what we can achieve; it impacts us in both good and bad ways depending on how we choose to convey the worth that we have. This tests our capacity to accept that our overall worth is the same as others', that our values are not a factor in determining our worth, and that values are simply choices with consequences. Our values reflect our personalities; they influence how we think and behave in every scenario, and they enable us in promoting the cultural and personal values that exist among the Filipino people. In summary, these values are adaptable; we adapt them from our surroundings, and they are embedded in our community. We may share this by igniting the fire from within, by demonstrating the values that paved the way for us Filipinos to be recognized all over the world, and by cherishing the best values that we have in order to keep and continually conserve and safeguard these values throughout the years. 3
