PROJECT PROPOSAL
PROJECT TITLE
Teaching of Community Development
Back-Ground
This project is purposely designed to meet the needs of Senior High School Student to
understand the basic Fundamental and integrated basic of community development. And
because the world is now seen as a Global Village. It is important for student to understand the
essences of community. Although the studies seeks to be very broad in terms of studies and
research. We shall look at social problems and what steps could be put in place to solve them.
Economic values which is an important tool for development and growth. (Technology) that is
budgetary control, the commercial heart of a city financial difficult, current economic situation.
Looking at industries, commercial activities, business and supply.
Therefore the growth of the world’s population, already states a great potential problem that
still community development researchers need to unfold and solve and see the harmonious
knowledge the young people potentially can illustrate by way of proper education and
guidance.

Students of form 4 To 6
JUSTIFICATION OF THE PROJECT/NEEDS FOR THE PROJECT
There are many reasons for the justification of this cause to be thought to these students.
-
It will give them much insight into becoming self empowered.
It will help them to become Agent of change in their various communities.
They can easily form very formidable Advocacy groups to help bring lasting sustainable
solution towards economic, social and governance.
Assessment Survey: With such background they can be able to judge whether good or
bad in taking decision to help both the grass-root people and developmental goals.
They can start looking at practical issues. They can start saving resources to solve theses
so call need are called “Felt need”. Needs that when solve can benefit a larger
population within the community

DURATION OF PROJECT
This course will run for 12 weeks
3 months, which is 90 days

STRATEGIES/MEANS TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVIES
Student will mainly use a face to face Interaction approach within a class room setting. It
will be a practical Integrated Approach and student will be encourage to write a research
paper of about two thousand words on any topic relating to community development
Integrated.
BUDJETING
Each student will have to pay a monthly fee of 350 GH respectively and the total cost will be
1050.00GH₵
INPUT
School Authorities would have to provide an enabling environment in order for student to
undertake this practical social work studies.
MONITORING
This would have to be done by school Authorities at time of class sessions
EVALUATION
This process would be continuous when the course would have started and it will take a
three way demission.
Teacher to school Authorities and feed backs from student.
