Activity 5.1 Name: Jean V. Isito Course: BSCE Professor: John Lloyd Seniel Jeepneys in the Philippines are designed to seem like paintings and books. Jeepneys with vibrantly spray painted religious artwork or comic figures, as well as literature incorporated in them, are like pieces of art on wheels. Superheroes are popular, and some of them have big lights on both the front and back of their costumes. Every jeepney is different, and I enjoy looking at the different styles that pass by. When we examine the situation, we may see that each design of a Philippine jeepney serves two purposes: creative expression and persuasiveness. The owner's personality was reflected in the vehicle's artistic expression. Persuasion was used to persuade others to agree with their point of view or follow a specific course of action by using imagination and personal feelings through painting and scribbles.
