Broca's area is located
lateral of the frontal lobe and in the
inferior frontal gyrus (pars
opercularis and pars triangularis) of
the dominant hemisphere, which is
usually the LEFT hemisphere.

Broca reported impairments in two
patients. They had lost the ability to speak

the brain.
