Using any social networking site, ask your
friend to share their opinion on whether the
government has handled the pandemic well
or not. Afterwards, screenshot at least three
(3) responses and indicate whether the
response is a primary or secondary source of
information.
Provide a three-sentence justification for why
their response is primary or secondary.
EXHIBIT A:
My friend’s response is a primary
source because it conveys firsthand
information of the topic. He has a
unique perspective that is not
based on any sources. He
explained why the government's
priorities were never well-defined
during the pandemic.
EXHIBIT B:
In my opinion, her response
qualifies as a primary source
because it contains firsthand
information. In her explanation, she
didn't use any sources. She has her
own take on the government's
response to the pandemic.
Although it is not the nicest, she
believes the government handled
the outbreak appropriately.
EXHIBIT C:
Her response serves as a primary
source because it reflects her own
thoughts on the subject. Her
viewpoint provides unique insight or
information into the government's
response to COVID-19. According
to her response, the government
failed to adequately oversee the
pandemic, which is why it caused
so much damage not only to our
lives but also to our economy.
