FIRST PROPOSAL
Modification of
Used Facemasks:
Portable Electric
Fan
2
Statement of the Problem:
This project intends to find solutions for the waste problem associated with used
facemask materials during this pandemic. Additionally, the study aims to develop a new product
that is extremely inventive, environmentally friendly, and can serve as a viable replacement to a
never-ending supply of plastic. With these considerations in mind, the study's objective is to
contribute to environmental conservation by transforming waste materials, such as worn
facemasks, into a beneficial creation. The study will examine the following issues:
1. How can the product be useful in our lives?
2. What addressed issues are solved by this matter?
3. How can turning waste facemask materials be beneficial to the
environment?
3
Procedure:
1
1. Sanitize or spread over heat the used facemask to disinfect and kill the
viruses and bacteria on it.
2. Shred the disinfected facemask materials.
3. Mold it into a propeller blade shape using Epoxy Resin and let it dry.
4. Connect the motor parts.
5. Assemble them to create an electric fan.

SECOND PROPOSAL
Innovated Discarded
Facemasks:
Functional Rubber
5
Statement of the Problem:
“
The goal of this study is to develop alternatives to used facemask materials,
which are a common source of trash during pandemics. The project also intends to create
new items that are extremely inventive, environmentally benign, and could be a viable
alternative to the usage of plastic indefinitely. With these factors in mind, the study's goal
is to contribute to environmental protection by repurposing waste materials like discarded
facemasks into useful inventions. The following issues will be investigated during the
research:
1.
How can we make a rubber out of discarded facemasks that is efficient
enough to use in our daily lives?
2.
Is it sufficient to meet the needs of both humans and the environment?
6
Procedure:
1. Sanitize first the used facemasks to eliminate the remaining
viruses.
2. Tatter the main materials which is the facemask.
3. Mix it with enough amount of glue and flour.
4. Spread over heat and let it dry.

THIRD PROPOSAL
iFocus: App Module
Planner for Students’
Academic
Development
8
Statement of the Problem:
The aim of this study is to find a solution to the excessive use of gadgets that can affect the
students' academic performance. To innovate and create an Android application that will be able to
assist the students' time and their academic development despite this COVID-19 Pandemic. An
application to help students manage their time by reducing the amount of gadgets and some types of
screen addiction. The following questions will be addressed in the study:
1.
During this pandemic, how can the app assist students with their education?
2.
How can the app assist the teachers grading system?
3.
Does it affects the study status of the student?
9
Procedure:
1. Install Android Studio.
2. Open a New Project.
3. Edit the Welcome Message in the Main Activity.
4. Add a Button to the Main Activity.
5. Create a Second Activity.
6. Write the Button's "onClick" Method.
7. Test the Application.
