Black women voting 1965 amendment:
1. How all races of women could vote in 1920 but women of color
were discriminated when trying to vote in certain states.
2. 1965 when the amendment was rewritten so that women of color
could vote without discrimination but still could not access voting
due to certain state laws.
Nelson Mandela:
1. Mandela joint-leading the movement to end the apartheid of
South Africa.
2. Winning the 1994 election of South Africa becoming the first black
president of South Africa.
3. 1994 election being the first multiracial parliamentary election in
South African history.
4. ANC could have been influenced and motivated by MLK and the
