WHAT’S MORE
1. How does empathy enable persons to establish genuine relationships with
others?
Answer: Empathy enables us to experience another person’s emotions, such as happiness,
anger, and sadness. Empathy enables us not only to share our friend's grief and offer him or
her comfort during a difficult experience, but also to feel the grief of that person even if it
wasn’t our own relative's death. By allowing us to share in another person's emotions,
empathy also enables us to place ourselves in their shoes.
2. What is availability? Have you ever made yourself available for others?
Answer: Availability essentially implies the willingness of a person to be present and be at
the disposal of another. This happens to me when my best friend had a low grades and she
felt unreliable for that, the availability of causing yourself be there to comfort her is an
instance.
3. What enables human persons to establish meaningful interaction with others?
Answer: Dialogue enables itself since this is made possible when the self realizes that the
other is a genuine and unique individual. We are able to relate meaningfully with other
human beings because we consider ourselves as essentially the same.
4. How is Inter subjectivity related to self-awareness and transcendence?
Answer: Our ability to engage in meaningful interactions with other people, our
surroundings, and everything around us is rooted in our capacity for self-awareness and
transcendence. Intersubjectivity typically begins with an event called the awakening. As
you become self-aware, you realize that the two parts of you are really one.
Transcendence on the other hand correlated with intersubjectivity, is that by keeping an
open mind and accepting that people will always be different from one another due to
their own experiences and learned behavior.
5. How does establishing dialogue with others benefit a person?
Answer: At the point when each individual enters into a dialogue with a mindset, then it is
truly a dialogue between equals. This will benefit a person in a way this offers the essence of
belongingness and shape a solid connection/trust since dialogue is the willingness to share
themselves with one another.
