HOUSE RULES
Rule #1: Treat husband respectfully. No fighting. This means no kicking, pushing,
shoving, hitting, throwing things, quarreling or spitting at husband.
No verbal (e.g., threatening to hit, kill, hurt) or physical threats or gestures of harm
(e.g., holding up a fist, moving to push, shove) toward husband.
No swearing at or about husband.
Rule #2: Be where you are supposed to be (Be accountable for your actions). This
means at all times you need to be where you are supposed to be (home, work, approved
friend’s house, parents’ house). Do not leave to go to another place without getting
permission from your husband. It is your responsibility to reach him. If you cannot
reach him, you are to stay where you are or come home.
Rule #3: D o a s y o u r h u s b a n d s a y s :
Respect anything your husband tells you. Never say words that will result in quarrelling. Listen to him
when he speaks. Do not talk back at him. Any warning he gives you, obey and do accordingly.
