WEEK 5 EVALUATION
“Day on the Farm”
1. The speaker in the poem is a Filipino husband.
2. Because the wife can't appreciate all of the efforts of her husband
3. Because she is not contented on what her husband gives.
4. she wants to be understood of his husband but she can’t express herself in a right way, so the husband can't
understand what she wants
5. fruits of sweetest taste, Bunches of duhat, rare wildflowers, forest ferns and green leaves cicadas
6. She didn't accept the offers of her husband and still crying.
7. The tone of the poem is sorrowful and it gives love affection to his wife.
“A Cloud Named Looking-for-You”
1. It is a person who is in love but has now a broken heart
2. It is for himself/herself because of the heartache that he/she is experiencing.
3. The tone is sad and angry.
4. The first one is simile, because he/she compares the heartache to the having sea. The person symbolizes
her/him broken heart into love’s grave.
